MS Benefit at Gallery MAR for Live UT Give UT Day

Park City’s Gallery MAR, together with the National MS Society’s Utah office, will host a reception Friday, March 22 from 6-8 p.m. to celebrate Love Utah Give Utah, a special day of giving supporting the important work nonprofits do to make Utah a wonderful place to live.
The Making of “Space in Between”– Guest Blog

I have a small studio – it’s only 150 sq ft. This last week I completed the biggest painting I’ve ever done – a 60 x 40 inch megalith called Space In Between. The painting was completed in advance for my upcoming show at Gallery MAR, “Atmospheric Intentions” in conjunction with my mentor’s work, Shawna Moore.

There is no doubt that Pablo Picasso is one of the most influential artists of all time. New and astounding auction prices continue to rise for his works, and a new discovery about the materials that the Spanish artist used keep Picasso in the forefront of arts news. New Paintings for Fred Calleri’s “Super Sonic Snow Cones” Show

We have received a beautiful new group of work from our most witty artist, Fred Calleri. The show title is “Super Sonic Snow Cones,” the title of the largest work in the show. This body of work is perfect for our snowy area, with winter fun themes and a new cast of characters, all painted in oil. Fred Calleri was the first artist who signed on with Gallery MAR in 2008, and 5 years later I am so very pleased to continue to show his work. If you’re in town, please join us this Friday the 8th from 6 to 9 pm for our artist reception on the gallery.

But occasionally we call upon the experts, particularly when it is a tricky hanging job. Or, when we need to hang into stone (that’s more than we can handle!). When Only the Best Will Do! Last Minute Holiday Gift Ideas

We have been very pleased to see a rush of last-minute gift buyers in the gallery this holiday season. And with two days ’til Christmas, now is the time to come in! Typically, the last of the gift-givers are men coming in, but this year I have been pleasantly surprised to see an equal amount of both men and women waiting until the final moments.
