In celebration of National Pollination Week (June16-22) Gallery MAR sculptor Carol Alleman is donating a sculptural bronze vessel entitled Nature’s Bounty . A lucky participant who makes a recommended donation of $20 to either The Pollinator Partnership (www.pollinator.org) or Park City’s Swaner Eco Center (www.swanerecocenter.org be entered into the Opportunity Drawing to take home the honeybee and white clover vessel.

Throughout our years as a gallery, we have enjoyed supporting and working with Arts Kids, a local non-profit that supports and offers after-school arts programs for Park City kids. This June 7th, they are celebrating with a special party at a beautiful home in the Colony.

Gallery MAR is pleased to host a series of photography workshops, with talented local camera woman Rebekah Stevens, this June, 2014. The focus on each class will be to assist and instruct beginner and intermediate photographers looking to enrich their skills behind the lens. Each class will begin at Gallery MAR, followed by field work around Old Town, Park City. Each class is $90 per person.

Yes, the Olympics concluded a month and a half ago. But, when you consider that many of the athletes had media tours, World Cup seasons to finish, video shoots to do in Austria, trips to Bosnia, a visit with President Obama at the White House and various other post-Olympic activities to attend, getting all the hometown Olympians in one place on the same day is a small miracle.
