Sara Edgar

Inspired by the subtleties of everyday life, my work is narrative. Observation is my intent. Making lists and taking notes of what people say and do, looking for moments that may not be apparent to others. Considering the meanings of these moments, most situations can be interpreted in more than one way. I like to play with that idea. Finding ways in my work to express those instances, I symbolize them in the obvious and not so obvious. The narrative I use may be known only to me yet lets the viewer interpret the story using their own experiences.
