Eternal Meditations brought together the thoughtful abstraction of Havoc Hendricks and the expressive work of Samantha daSilva in an exhibition that encouraged reflection and connection. It was the perfect show to have up for Sundance as it allowed a quiet moment of contemplation for our guests amid the hubbub of the Festival. Enjoy these lovely shots by Hollye Shepherd.

Hendricks’ layered compositions set a calm, contemplative tone, while daSilva’s intuitive paintings added movement and warmth. Together, their work created a balanced presentation that felt both personal and expansive.

Guests spent time with each piece, moving slowly through the gallery and engaging deeply with the artwork. Hendricks’ surfaces invited quiet observation, while daSilva’s color and energy offered a sense of openness and emotion — many of the works are deeply personal. The two artists complementing one another, and we were grateful to see so many collectors connect with the work!

We loved welcoming friends of the gallery, longtime collectors, and new visitors throughout the exhibition. Eternal Meditations was a meaningful moment for Gallery MAR, reminding us of the power of art to bring people together. We thank both Hendricks and daSilva for sharing their work with us, and our collectors for continuing to support living artists.
