It’s always a thrill to see your nae in print. For Gallery MAR artist Cristall Harper, it happened in this months’s Southwest Art Magazine, which has been featuring our artists for over eleven years.

We are grateful to say that our of our artists have graced the cover. Harper is one of the most grateful and graceful artists with whom we have the honor of working. From Southwest Art Magazine: In 2012 she contacted Gallery MAR, suggesting they look at her website and thinking they might be interested in her floral work. The call that came back surprised her. Could she send a few 6-by-6-inch paintings of dogs? The gallery sold three the first week. “We were off to the races,” Harper says. Four years later Greg Fulton, managing partner at Astoria Fine Art in Jackson, WY, emailed Harper. He’d been following her work for a couple of years after purchasing one of her paintings of Buttercup [from Gallery MAR!] and invited her to join the gallery.
