Community Nursing Services (CNS) celebrates its 31st annual Art & Soup event at the Salt Lake Convention Center this week.  Art & Soup is a fundraising event to support CNS’s delivery of charitable home health, hospice and immunization services to people throughout Utah.  All proceeds of ticket sales and 35% of art sales go to the non-profit.  For two days, visitors enjoy soups and desserts from 26 popular restaurants (100% of their food and time is donated) and artwork from 49 of Utah’s most celebrated and up-and-coming artists–one of which is our own Glen Hawkins.

 

 

 

Mark your calendar for next year’s Art & Soup. It’s easy going, and you can enjoy everything in a couple of hours. I give high marks all around for delicious food and great art–all for a very good cause.
