Artist Statement-
My love of photography began back in 1976, when I used my Kodak Instamatic camera while visiting family in Jackson Hole. Then, at 16, I received my first 35mm Nikon from my father.
Today I photograph with a Nikon Digtal, but still prefer shooting with my 4×5 Toyo camera or my medium format camera (my Hasselblad) for landscapes. I don’t manipulate any of my images with filters or Photoshop… what you see is what I capture on film. I use Fuji Velvia or Provia film for my prints and print them on Fuji Archival paper at a custom lab in Salt Lake City.
