His artistic interests started at a young age while watching his Uncle paint. Yates’s studies include the University of Utah and other private instruction. During his time at University, Yates was introduced to Utah artist Seth Winegar and has been painting with him for several years. For a while, Yates stopped painting to concentrate on finishing his MBA at the University of Utah. Through that time, he continued to paint. “I have always been interested in blessing the lives of all those around me with my art work.” Gallery MAR is pleased to present this new, emerging artist to watch.
